Things to do in Hong Kong

I enjoyed my time at Hong Kong Disney land! The rides were fun, especially the space mountain one. I recommend getting there early before the lunchtime rush. One critique I have is that they do not have a sensory room for neurodivergent individuals. I have Autism Spectrum Disorder and had to wear my noise cancelling earphones for a while to cope with the overstimulation. My boyfriend is also neurodivergent and we both struggled with the sounds and bright colours. A sensory room is a simple feature the park could bring to accommodate individuals with ADHD and autism and I was disappointed that they didn’t have one.

This is a must do jn hong kong when going to the peak! It’s really an experience

I visited during the Halloween period with my friends. The vibe was amazing, and everyone was wearing costumes. The area is really nice with such an amazing view. However, expect a lot of people, meaning that you’ll spend most of your time waiting in queues.

At the Hong Kong Palace Museum, you can admire world treasures from the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and experience the extraordinary charm of gold and jewelry from different civilizations—convenient and great value.

I visited Victoria Peak on a Thursday, shortly after arriving in Hong Kong. I figured it was the only attraction I would still have enough energy for that day. I was wondering whether to buy the Ruby Pass, thinking that since it was a Thursday, the queues might not be too bad.Well, I can tell you that the Ruby Pass was absolutely worth it!I arrived at the Peak Tram around 4:30 p.m. and estimate that the pass saved me about 40-60 minutes on the way up. Without it, I probably would have missed the chance to see Hong Kong in daylight, enjoy the sunset, and watch the city lights come on. By the time I would have reached the top without the pass, it would already have been dark. The return journey was a completely different story. Judging by the queue, I estimate that waiting for the tram back down would have taken around 90-120 minutes. My recommendation: Either take the tram up and walk back down, or get a Ruby Pass for both directions if you want to avoid wasting time in queues.

Pretty lovely experience in Hong Kong. Took the crystal cabin and it was great decision! The sceneries were beautiful all the way up to the Ngong ping village. Uphill locate lots of restaurants, coffee shops, stores. Public environment is great too. I don't think there much more pricey then downhill, so I guess there's still kinda same as in Hong Kong. Bus station is small and the busses are coming a bit slow (nearly every 30-40mins), so if you coming with kids you need to consider it well. We stayed in the line but couldn't sit in the bus, so decided to wait for the next one, but then decided not to go to Tai O because of the waiting time. Gonna keep this one for the next time. Other than that, there's also a beautiful temple with Buddhas and the Big Buddha itself. Looks incredible! Many greenery and flowers, a lot of huge butterflies which was such a lovely scene! Definitely worth the visit 🦋❤️

Worth the visit. Fast transaction. I bought the ticket right in from of the entrance. I got in easily.

Take the ferry from Central Pier 9, which circles Victoria Harbour before disembarking at Tsim Sha Tsui Pier. The 5:30 PM ferry offers sunset views, and upon arrival, the harbor lights up, providing a beautiful night view of Victoria Harbour. The journey takes 45 minutes and includes a complimentary drink—wine, champagne, juice, or cola. It costs 240 RMB per person, which is a bit pricey.

I went on the Sunset Roller Coaster this weekend and it was so much fun! My heart was racing a little as the carriage slowly climbed higher, and when we reached the top, the entire river was bathed in golden light. The downhill breeze was incredibly refreshing, and my friend next to me was laughing the whole time. There wasn't a dull moment; this kind of relaxed joy is rare and precious.

The Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge is a vital link connecting Zhuhai, and I was eager to experience it firsthand. Upon arriving in Zhuhai and learning about this tour, I immediately booked tickets online. The bridge is indeed magnificent and awe-inspiring, and the Blue Dolphin Island showcases my country's advanced land reclamation technology. However, the ticket price was exorbitant, significantly overpriced, and the actual tour content was far from what was advertised.
