Our guide was Jonathan, he was lovely. We learned interesting stories about the individual sights during the trip. The tour in general was well structured and we had enough time at each sight. All in all, this tour is highly recommended!

Reviews: Dublin: Boyne Valley with Newgrange and Bru Na Boinne Entry
Guest User2026-10-12
Our tour guide and bus were early at the Molly Malone statue. We arrived early enough at our first stop at Bru Na Boinne to walk through the visitors center. It’s a short walk to the bus stop to take you to the site of Knowth - a 5000 year old Monolithic and Megalithic burial aite with 19 satellite burial sites. It was pretty awesome as we arrived to see this! Our tour guide at the site explained lots of things about the people that made these tombs. What I didn’t expect was being able to walk on top of this ancient burial ground. Next stop was Newgrange. Here we learned much more about the people who created this engineering marvel and we literally had to squeeze our way into the chamber! You have to see it to believe it - no photos allowed! Back to the visitors center for a lovely lunch and a chance to shop. Last stop at Monasterbice a 5th century monastery site that has three incredible Celtic crosses still standing! Another excellent day of learning about local History!

Reviews: Dublin: Book of Kells, Dublin Castle and Christ Church Tour

Since our hotel was near the meeting point, we didn't have to walk far. Our guide, Dave, was super nice and funny. Our group came from many different countries around the world, which made it even more interesting. Dave was able to answer all our questions and give us some recommendations. We were very happy.

We covered a large part of the beautiful and historic parts of Ireland in this day trip. Barry made the trip a great experience and not only made the time pass by without notice, but taught a lot while in between stops. Extremely breathtaking, educational and unforgettable!!
