This was my first time participating in a domestic day tour, and it shattered my preconceived notion that independent travel is always better, leaving me with a wonderful experience. Our guide, May, explained everything very carefully, giving us a deeper understanding of the attractions we were visiting, rather than just rushing through them like usual. She was also very attentive throughout the trip; the shops even helped take many photos and videos. I especially enjoyed the tour to Shifen Waterfall and the Cat Village, and there was even an opportunity to ride the Pingxi branch line. Also, since the group members were all foreign tourists, May provided explanations in both Chinese and English.★
