Vatican Mosaic Studio & St. Peter's Basilica: Guided Tour

Join a small-group tour with a guide to enjoy exclusive access to the highly restricted Vatican Mosaic Workshop and learn about the techniques and historical importance of Vatican mosaics.

Observe the master artisans at work and see the tools, materials, and methods used to create and restore mosaics for St. Peter's Basilica and churches and basilicas around the world.

Then, follow your guide directly into St. Peter's Basilica from within Vatican City, bypassing the security screening in St. Peter's Square, where they will introduce you to its history and underground area.

The guided portion of your tour ends near the entrance to the Dome, you can continue exploring the basilica at your own pace or choose to visit the Dome independently.
