Reviews: Tokyo Nikko World Heritage Temple + Lake Chuzenji + Kegon Falls + Iroha Road Day Trip
Guest User2026-10-15
A huge thank you to Director Liu for giving us a joyful, relaxing, and rewarding day. His explanations were engaging and informative, providing a wealth of new knowledge. He also allowed ample time for rest along the way, ensuring a smooth and professional schedule without rushing or pressure. We saw many elementary school students learning at Dongzhao Temple, and also encountered many Russian tourists. Unfortunately, due to heavy fog and rain, we couldn't see the full view of Huangyan Waterfall, only hearing the loud roar of the water. The most memorable aspects for me were the tranquil lake, the beautiful environment, and the various national treasure-level buildings featured in the film, especially Longming Temple. A truly worthwhile trip!

Reviews: [Guaranteed Departure] Nikko Autumn Foliage : Kegon Falls+Toshogu+Lake Chuzenji+Shinkyo Bridge Day Tour(From Tokyo)
Guest User2026-10-30
I wanted to see the autumn leaves in Nikko, but unfortunately many trees hadn't turned red yet; next week might be the best time to see them. Our guide, Juna, explained the history and cultural value of the sites clearly in both Chinese and English, and also arranged the itinerary well. Juna specifically arranged to visit Toshogu Shrine first, then Shinbashi Bridge, so we wouldn't have to climb the stairs from Shinbashi Bridge to Toshogu. We wanted to visit Tokugawa Ieyasu's mausoleum at Toshogu, which requires climbing 200 steps and then returning to the meeting point. If the order of visits were reversed, visiting Tokugawa Ieyasu's mausoleum would require climbing the stairs twice, which sounded exhausting.

Reviews: Tokyo Nikko world heritage tour | 1-day tour to Toshogu shrine + Lake Chūzenji + Kegon waterfalls

A great program and a fantastic guide! We had plenty of time at each stop, the guide shared the best places to visit, explained the locations, and even put together a small document to read along the way. Even the rain didn't spoil the experience :)

Reviews: Japan Tokyo Nikko World Heritage Ancient Temple + Irohazaka + Lake Chūzenji + Kegon Waterfalls 1-day tour

this was one of the highlights of our time in Japan. I highly recommend it! if you motion sickness like I do, take something prior to getting on the bus because it’s a 2.5 hr drive one way. bring snacks , you do get to stop at the waterfalls and eat lunch but options are limited. the temple was amazing!

Reviews: Small group of 9 people - fall maple viewing · Nikko 1-day tour: Toshogu Shrine + Lake Chūzenji + Kegon Waterfalls
Guest User2026-11-04
Nikko has always been a place I wanted to visit, but considering the long distance and inconvenient transportation, I decided to book a day tour. Our guide, Zhuang, was very attentive and responsible. On the way back, we encountered traffic, and we passengers were all exhausted, let alone him driving for so long – he really worked very hard. Even after the tour ended, he still reminded everyone in the group chat to be careful, keep their belongings safe, and dress warmly. I've traveled to Japan many times, but this was my first time on a day tour, and it was a great experience. Thank you again!
