Reviews: Dazaifu Tenmangu + Yufuin + Kinrin Lake + Yufuin Floral Village + Kamado Jigoku Day Tour
Guest User2026-08-27
For this trip to Kyushu, I specifically booked a one-day tour online, visiting Yufuin, Lake Kinrin, the Beppu Ropeway, and Kamado Jigoku (Hell on the Hearth). I was initially worried that a one-day tour might be too rushed, but after experiencing it, I found it very convenient. I didn't need to research transportation myself, and I was able to visit several of Kyushu's most representative attractions in one trip. Lake Kinrin is surrounded by natural scenery, with a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere that made me want to slow down and appreciate the views. The views of Beppu from above while riding the Beppu Ropeway were also unforgettable. Kamado Jigoku allowed me to experience Beppu's unique hot spring culture; the various geothermal landscapes were very special and added to the enjoyment of the trip.
What impressed me most about this trip wasn't just the attractions, but the professionalism and friendliness of the tour guide. Besides providing detailed explanations of the history and features of each attraction, the guide also proactively recommended local delicacies, allowing us to try worthwhile foods without spending too much time researching. What surprised me even more was that the guide was fluent in Chinese, Japanese, and English, communicating smoothly with travelers from different countries, making the entire trip more relaxed and enjoyable.
This day trip not only allowed me to appreciate the natural beauty of Yufuin and Beppu, but also gave me a deeper understanding of Japanese hot spring culture. Although it was only one day, the itinerary was quite fulfilling, and it saved me the trouble of planning my own transportation. If I have the opportunity to visit Fukuoka again, I would gladly choose this convenient tour with a professional guide to continue exploring more of Japan's beautiful scenery and delicious food.★

Reviews: 1-Day Oita Adventure: Dazaifu, Yufuin & Kamado Jigoku
Guest User2026-02-09
This day trip was fantastic! We visited four places, each with beautiful scenery. At Dazaifu, you can draw a fortune slip; I got a "small good" one, hoping for better academic results. Yufuin was also great for exploring, with lots of little shops. My favorite was the Beppu Ropeway 🚡. It started snowing as soon as we set off, and by the time we reached the top, everything was covered in snow—it was incredibly beautiful, and the kids loved it. My biggest complaints about the Kamado Hell were that the cannonball pit area was too small, making it very crowded, and the 30-minute time limit was too short; 45 minutes would have been more reasonable.★

The Dazaifu Shrine is currently under renovation, but despite the bustling crowds, the flow of people remains remarkably orderly. May my child receive divine guidance, enhancing their wisdom and self-discipline. Keep it up! 💪★

Reviews: 1-day tour of 4 scenic spots in Oita, Kyushu: Yufuin + Beppu Kamado Jigoku + hot springs + Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine

A wonderful day trip! The itinerary was well-planned, and every attraction was perfectly placed! A huge shout-out to our beautiful and kind tour guide, Dora! 👍 She was incredibly attentive and helpful throughout, switching seamlessly between Chinese and English! She even recommended some great restaurants and made reservations for us at a barbecue place. Meeting someone on a trip is truly a blessing, so thank you so much, and I look forward to meeting you again!
