Reviews: Japan One-Day Tour: Mt. Fuji, Hakone, Owakudani, Lake Yamanaka & Oshino Hakkai
Guest User2026-09-25
My written review was flagged as plagiarism by the official platform, which is truly speechless. So I'll just have to point out the bad parts. First, lunch was listed as self-arranged in the itinerary, and I thought I could find my own place to eat. Instead, they took everyone to a restaurant called Kin-Fuji, which cost 3500 yen. I felt the food was completely overpriced. And next door was a place selling local specialties—isn't this like taking a tour group to a duty-free shop? Making money is fine, but not mentioning this in the itinerary beforehand is a big mistake.★

We had a wonderful experience with Eddie as our driver for our Hakone tour! He was professional, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. Throughout the trip, he shared lots of interesting information and insights about the area, which made the experience even more enjoyable and informative.
One of the funniest highlights was that while the rest of us were catching up on some sleep during the drive, my friend was wide awake having an excellent and engaging conversation with Eddie! She learned so much and thoroughly enjoyed chatting with him.
Eddie really went above and beyond to make our trip comfortable, enjoyable, and memorable. We truly appreciated his knowledge, patience, and great company. Highly recommend Eddie to anyone planning a tour of Hakone. Thank you, Eddie, for making our day so special!★

Reviews: [Small Group Available] Japan Mt. Fuji Cultural Experience: Hakone, Owakudani, Oshino Hakkai Day Trip
Guest User2026-10-19
We took a day trip to Hakone and Mt. Fuji with Kousei as our guide, and it was a fantastic experience. Despite the large tour group, full buses, and traffic congestion, Kousei still managed the itinerary exceptionally well, ensuring we were on time throughout the day.
We were fortunate to enjoy crystal-clear and magnificent views of Mt. Fuji, especially at Oshino Hakkai and Lake Yamanaka. The itinerary was very packed, but thanks to Kousei's efficient organization, we were able to see and experience so much in such a short time.
While we wish we could have spent more time at some of the sites, we were truly grateful to have made the most of the day. Highly recommend this trip and Kousei as our guide!★

A good trip is closely related to the driver. Our driver was enthusiastic and attentive, introducing many scenic spots along the way and answering our questions about customs from time to time. He arranged the itinerary and time reasonably and explained the precautions for sightseeing in great detail.
