Today's trip was handled by Mr. Li, license plate number Yun R68799. He was a very nice driver. He chatted with us about local customs and culture along the way. His driving skills were also very steady. The entire itinerary was exactly as ordered. Tiger Leaping Gorge is very photogenic and beautiful, but it was a bit windy and cold, so we wore more layers. It only got warmer around noon. We also had a Tusi Banquet for lunch. It was a buffet hot pot, and we were full. There was even a small performance during the banquet.★

If you are looking for a Tiger Leaping Gorge trekking tour, this is the place!! Although I was the only Korean on the tour, the guide was kind and took great care of me, allowing me to have a wonderful day. Not only did I admire the breathtaking scenery, but the guide also took great photos at the spots, helping me capture the shots of a lifetime. I was so, so satisfied. If you are hesitating, be sure to join and experience the Ancient Tea Horse Road! You will discover a charm distinct from Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and the Upper Tiger Leaping Gorge. You definitely won't regret it!!★

Very grateful to Mr Wang with license plate number RM2509 for arranging the tour for us. Pickup time at every tour location is very accurate. Mr Wang will give us a pin location so that we can easily navigate our way back to the pick up point because a lot of places in the itinerary aren't very accessible by public car. Also, the places in the itinerary requires A LOT of walking and stairs climbing especially the temple and songzanlin monastery. So, if you planned to climb Jade Dragon Snow Mountain first, give it a couple days of resting before going to Shangri-La because your legs is going to be ON FIRE from all the stairs climbing. Mr Wang provided 1 portable oxygen can for each person, I'd recommend to get 1 or 2 more extra before departure to Shangri-La because the air is thin. Don't even think about speed walking because you're going to ran out of breath after 10 steps. Wear full waterproof clothing or raincoat to TLG because the raging gorge might splash you like i did.★

Five-star review! This small group tour from Lijiang Old Town to Tiger Leaping Gorge to Shangri-La was a delightful experience from start to finish. Special praise goes to Ctrip customer service representative Xiaoyue and driver Si Yalei! It was the most enjoyable day of my trip in Yunnan!
Throughout the booking and communication process, we were incredibly grateful to customer service representative Xiaoyue. She responded promptly and patiently to our inquiries about the itinerary and adjustments to our travel needs, clearly explaining the route and precautions for traveling in high-altitude areas. She helped us avoid potential problems in advance, providing thoughtful and reliable pre-sales service, making the entire booking process worry-free.
Special praise goes to driver Si Yalei! The Lijiang-Shangri-La route involves many winding and treacherous mountain roads, but the driver's skillful and steady driving ensured that I didn't experience any motion sickness. The vehicle was clean and odor-free, and he proactively helped with our luggage. He knew many less-traveled scenic spots along the way and proactively stopped to take us to see the stunning views of Tiger Leaping Gorge. He provided detailed explanations of the Jinsha River Gorge, Tibetan customs and culture, and offered helpful tips on preventing altitude sickness and avoiding local scams. The entire trip is a pure sightseeing tour with no shopping or hidden sales pitches. The itinerary is relaxed, with ample time allocated for each attraction. The staff are genuinely kind and friendly, creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere throughout.
The service was top-notch throughout. From the customer service representatives who assisted with the initial contact to the accompanying driver, everyone was highly professional. I highly recommend this company for your trip to Lijiang and Shangri-La, and I'll definitely choose Ctrip again for my next trip!
