Our first stop with the MS Lady Diletta was Amsterdam, a very beautiful city with its narrow streets and canals. A canal cruise is a must; it costs €14.50 per person and lasts an hour. You can also go up the Adam Tower and swing for €7.50 per person. Or you can visit Madame Tussauds; admission is €23.50 per person. Just across the way is the National Monument, a large square but nothing particularly special. Also recommended are the Van Gogh Museum and the Schreierstoren, an old defensive tower not far from the train station and harbor.

The guide Robin was excellent. Told about the prostitution activity in a serious and interesting, but still humouristic, way. Also about laws and rules. And about the old and newer history of the whole area.
