I didn't know much about Du Fu's life before, but through the help of Xiao Huang, a craftsman from Shu, I learned a lot about his life, his unfortunate circumstances, and his deep concern for his country and its people. I was very moved. Another great thing was taking photos with the statues of Su Dongpo and Li Qingzhao, which was fantastic.

We have a lot of kids, so our tour guide, Tangyuan, specifically tells stories about the Three Kingdoms to the children. She'll squat down to their level and try to increase their enthusiasm.
