It was a great day trip, offering city dwellers a chance to connect with nature and experience Korean traditional culture and life firsthand. Although there were fewer people in the group and therefore no tour guide (I wonder if that's the reason?), the travel agency upgraded the transportation, making the entire trip comfortable. The driver was very nice and tried his best to explain the sights to us in English.

We had a 1 day layover at Incheon airport. Our guide picked us up at the airport hotel & we toured the Gyeongbokgung Palace, a Hanok village & a little shopping & lunch in Insadong. He shared a lot of information & stories & was very timely in getting us to the airport with our brief timeline.

Sophia was a wonderful tour guide. She met us at the airport, communicated ahead of time where to meet, provided an agenda, but was flexible to our needs. We had a great lunch in a traditional Korean restaurant, loved the tour of the Imperial Palace and grounds, experienced the market, had tea at a traditional tea house, just an incredible to spend the day out seeing Seoul instead of sitting at the airport. She was very knowledgeable about Korean history and culture, was a safe driver, her vehicle was very clean and she provided us with cold water for the day. Overall, we were so happy with our tour with Sophia and it was a great way for us to celebrate a birthday.

I was able to purchase tickets slightly cheaper than on other sites thanks to Trip.com's member discounts and coupons! I'm very happy with the great deal! You can use the number issued by Trip.com by entering it on the train ticket payment screen of the AREX official booking site. I was worried I wouldn't make my reserved train, so I changed my train reservation on the official site, but there were no problems! I'm very satisfied! I proceeded through the official site from the screen shown in the photo!
