You will visit the Dar Am Taieb residence, a house-museum that my father created from recycled materials. You will visit the eight rooms and open-air courtyards, where the industrial world blends with nature. There, you will find thousands of works of art that my father sculpted over 45 years, including marble, stone and metal sculptures that tell the story of our time. You will be told many anecdotes.
After a 45-minute tour of the museum, you will discover my workshop, where a welcome snack will be served. This is where I let my inspiration run wild to paint leather and transform it into unique leather goods.
The workshop will begin with an introduction to the history of leather, the various tanning processes, and the different types of leather. Everyone will then receive a blank clutch, brushes, and special paint for leather. A professional will assist you in embellishing your creations with copper stamps. Local and traditional snacks will be served throughout the workshop. At the end of the 90 minutes, you will leave with your creations, a certificate of participation and, most importantly, unforgettable memories.
