Tucked into the Tatra foothills just 30 minutes from Zakopane, Terma Bania is one of Poland's most complete aquapark and thermal complexes — a destination that works just as well on a summer afternoon as it does on a crisp winter day with snow on the peaks.
The water itself tells the story. Drawn from a geothermal source 2,500 metres underground, it reaches the surface naturally rich in sulphur, magnesium, and calcium — and arrives in the pools at a steady 34–38°C. Across 15 pool basins and 300 metres of water slides, there's enough variety to fill a full day without repeating yourself.
FUN ZONE
For families and thrill-seekers. Tackle over 300 metres of slides — the twisting Anaconda, the high-speed Turbo, and family-friendly options for younger guests. The outdoor pools feature artificial waves, a lazy river, water carousels, geysers and water cannons. For the little ones, there's a dedicated paddling area with gentle cascades and interactive water toys.
RELAX ZONE
For those who came to slow down. Indoor and outdoor thermal pools with panoramic views of the Tatra Mountains, hydrotherapy jets, jacuzzis, and a swim-up bar. The outdoor terrace expands in summer with sunbathing areas and food trucks serving Polish specialties.
SAUNA ZONE (adults only)
A proper saunarium — Finnish sauna, herbal sauna, steam room, salt cave, brine graduation tower, and cooling pool. Free sauna ceremonies are held daily by trained sauna masters.
On-site restaurant, café, lockers and changing facilities mean there's no reason to rush. Most visitors arrive thinking they'll spend a few hours and end up staying until closing time.
Terma Bania is open daily from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM, year-round. Book in advance — weekends and school holidays sell out.
