Everything was good except the visit to Richmond. There were only a couple places to eat with too many tourist buses leading to hour plus wait times to get into the restaurants.

Reviews: From Hobart: Mt. Field, Mt. Wellington & Bonorong Sanctuary
Guest User2026-10-25
Heather our Guide was amazing. She drove easy and mentioned a lot of things in the surrounding area like the Wine yards, river, plants etc. On the Mt. Field National Park hike she explained clearly what to expect and when we can say we want to stop and go back instead of doing the full hike. Mentioned 440 steps (200 first and at the end 240). Again explained a lot of things and we saw black cockatoos and Wallabies and other animals. No spiders or snakes. Also the Sanctuary was great even though it was very hot and the animals not very energetic, we saw an Albino Cockatoo, Tasmanian Devil, Kangaroos, Lizards and many more. The view from Mt. Wellington is beautiful and worth to do it at least once. You have a great view of the Valley and Hobart. It was windy up there but with a jacket no problem at all. Overall I had a blast on this tour.

What a wonderful variety of the best of the Hobart area! From the Mt. Field National Park forest to the Bonorong Sanctuary and finally the summit of Mt. Wellington we were treated to experiences we could not have accessed on our own without a great deal of driving and effort. Thankfully we had an expert driver who kept us moving but gave us plenty of time to immerse in each location.

Reviews: 3-hour Tasman Island Cruise from Port Arthur
Guest User2026-08-22
The natural scenery was breathtaking. it’s incredible to see what nature has created along this coastline. The staff were very friendly and explained the sights in detail. They even provided seasickness tablets beforehand. I also appreciated that they reassured everyone not to worry about which side of the boat they were sitting on, as the boat would slowly turn 360° at the main sights so everyone could enjoy the view and take photos. The only disappointing part was the Trip.com email, which stated: “Please arrive at the meeting point 45 minutes before your selected session time.” Our cruise was at 9:15am, so because we had a long drive, we arrived around 8:00am. However, the shop wasn’t even open and the briefing only started around 9:20am. The cruise itself was fantastic and highly recommended, but Trip.com really needs to correct this misleading arrival instruction. There’s no reason for guests to rush and arrive so early when the meeting point isn’t even open.
