The view was mesmerizing. After 5 minutes in the summit, we experienced a snow and we saw an echidna on the way back which made the trip extra special. 😁

Watching animals is a very special experience. I recommend this itinerary. Tas is all about getting close to small animals.

Simon was an excellent host for our tour. He took into account the make up of our group and our requests, in particular noting we were all keen to try some local gin as well as wine. We were very lucky with amazing weather! The tour bus was comfy and clean and the venues we visited were so friendly and informative. Lunch venue was absolutely perfect! Thanks for looking after us and highlighting the best of NZ / South Wairarapa. Great value, excellent service. Thank you.

We went to Milford Sound today with a comfortable Mercedez Sprinter departing from Queenstown and had great fun! First and foremost our compliments to the driver and guide Glenn! He told us that he's 'only' in NZ for 3 months now, but we didn't notice anything about that at all. He's an enthusiastic, kind, chill guide, a very capable driver and he tells a bunch of interesting stories along the way. He also encouraged connections between all the participants on the tour by asking short introductions of each person/duo so that small talk during the rest of the trip becomes a bit more easy, which we thought was nice! Even his terrible jokes (his own words, not mine) were funny and kept the mood light. Thanks again, Glenn Apart from our guide, the tour itself was also very well arranged. Email contact in advance of our trip was very clear. Pick up and drop off went smoothly and the arranged lunch was also good. The stops along the way are a nice addition to the main activity of the tour and they were quite scenic as well. We liked the small tourgroup because you're more flexible by visiting spots you wouldn't be able to see with a large touring car, you dont't have to wait too long for everyone to return to the busses on the stops, and there is a better connection between driver and the participants. We highly recommend this trip to Milford Sound with Glenn as tourguide! Joep & Cavoa
Reviews: Wellington's Original LOTR Experience - includes Weta and Lunch

Marc was the most amazing host. He was an extra on LOTR and has many interesting stories to tell as well as a behind-the-scenes knowledge of the filming locations. Every location was stunningly beautiful and I had a blast. Highly recommend Marc and this tour.
