We felt very well taken care of right from the start. After a short safety briefing, we headed out to sea, and our captain was in constant contact with the lookouts on land to spot animals for us. The first group was a bit shy and didn't let us get too close. When it was time to turn back, we passed a second, less shy group. They made a special stop for us, and we were able to observe the whales in peace. On the way back, they simply picked up the pace a bit. It was a truly fantastic tour, and we definitely recommend it!★

Such a fab tour. Our transport was comfortable. The driver Diego Dojoogo is a great driver, with an excellent sense of humour, great English, and knows all of the best places. He was super helpful to me in the forest. Make sure to wear waterproof shoes! And deffo bring a rain jacket. I enjoyed the place we stopped for lunch and the recommendation for a local dish. The Maderia bread. Everything was fab on this tour and superb value for money. Diageo is a great representation of Portugal.★

It was excellent, from the hotel pickup to the hike itself. The guide was fantastic and provided us with perfect information about every section of the hike. I highly recommend it! The views on and around Pico de Areeiro were spectacular. I also want to mention the driver; he was great too! The whole tour was a wonderful experience.★

Oh man, that was fantastic! A comfortable, stylish catamaran that can also accelerate like a speedboat! A professional, considerate, and very friendly skipper who took us right to Ponto do Furado! Fatima kept us well-supplied with homemade baked goods, snacks, fruit, sparkling wine, Madeira, etc. Even in rougher seas, we stayed dry – wonderful! Thank you! We'll be back; this was a highlight of our vacation!★

to see whales or dolphins, there is no question of having seen anything... the only pleasure was the walk at sunset and a glass of wine... don't be disappointed if you don't see anything, maybe others had better luck...
