Having looked at many different island-hopping tours, I was torn between a day trip on a large catamaran, which wasn't expensive at 700 NTD per person. However, my son, although a swimmer, was going into the sea for the first time, so we ultimately decided on this half-day tour to Egg Island. Initially, I didn't have high expectations because of the low price, but it actually exceeded my expectations. The tour guide was humorous and engaging, the arrangements were well-organized, and the service was attentive. The advantage of a speedboat is that there are fewer people, making it easier to interact with the guide. Most importantly, the hotel pick-up and drop-off times are shorter. I spent almost half an hour on Egg Island while these catamarans were just arriving. And since each catamaran carries about 70 people, it took considerable time for passengers to disembark. I knew some hotel guests who said they spent more time on the boat than in the water. So, if you're traveling with a child and want a relaxed experience of swimming and snorkeling, I highly recommend this speedboat tour. However, if you're traveling in a large group, want to meet new friends, or have high standards for snorkeling quality, it's not worth wasting money on a large catamaran tour. Don't trust TikTok or Xiaohongshu anymore.

The price is affordable, with door-to-door pick-up and drop-off, and transparent pricing with no hidden costs. The half-day tour was perfect; a full day was too tiring. Although the tour fee was low, the local Thai tour group was very responsible, friendly, and welcoming. They provided plenty of free fruit upon arrival on the island, and free drinking water and beverages were available throughout the tour. They even helped watch over our belongings, which was very appreciated. In particular, there was a gentleman in the group who spoke excellent Chinese and took special care of the Chinese members of the group. I highly recommend that domestic tourists choose a tour led by this gentleman!

Fantastic! June is supposed to be the rainy season in Phuket, so I had little expectation for a boat trip. But surprisingly, the weather was great for all four days! The driver arrived at the hotel at the pre-arranged time to pick us up and take us to the pier. The tour company at the pier provided a simple breakfast followed by a route briefing. They provided seasickness medication before departure, and everyone had a very pleasant and fulfilling day! The weather was great, and the sea was absolutely beautiful! There were no hidden charges, and the tour guide spoke both English and Chinese, and was very humorous and enthusiastic! Our boat was called the Double Mirror, Kelly 1. The waves were a bit big, but it was very stable! Each activity lasted about 30-45 minutes, which was a little rushed. We gave a 100฿ tip at the end. The tour guide and staff were truly dedicated and enthusiastic – excellent!

Had an amazing time on this tour and met some really cool people who were on solo trips like myself. We all instantly vibed. The tour was very organized with friendly and patient tour guides. There were many fun water activities to do and be apart of.

We booked the elephant and mangrove tour package. Because we arrived early in the morning, we didn't get to see the mangroves. The elephant was alone, standing still and following commands for photos 🥲. In the end, we visited three islands: the one with the elephant, the one with the monkey, the one with the beach, and the one where we ate. But we specifically went for the jet ski ride, and there was plenty of it. If you're with your girlfriend or wife and she wants to swap rides with you, they allow it. We chose a 180-horsepower jet ski to experience the full range of emotions. Also, be prepared for the initial briefing to be confusing and a lot of information to be shared, but the main thing is to pay attention to the instructor.
