A wonderfully planned tour with lots of facts and stories about Scottish history. Our tour guide, Phil, was a real storyteller, and we had a fantastic time! Just looking out the window and admiring the Highland scenery was worth the trip alone. A small tour with Rabbies (minibus) creates a pleasant atmosphere, and you don't feel like you're being driven to a specific spot with ten other buses. It's a fantastic, personalized experience with excellent value for money. We would book another tour with Rabbies anytime and wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone :-)

The tour was operated by Hairycow and was at the end of January. The organization was excellent. After I purchased the tour, trip.com contacted me to reschedule it because the tour with a stop at the distillery wasn't available that day. I was offered a tour on the day I selected but with a lake cruise, or other days from the list that included the distillery. I chose the boat ride and was not disappointed. The bus was comfortable, with restroom and snack stops along the way. The views were stunning; I personally didn't have enough stops for nature photography. But the views are so beautiful that I wanted to stop every 100 meters. Late January was a good time for the boat ride; the boat has two decks, open on top and large windows on the bottom, and is well heated. There's also a bar with alcohol (I recommend the lower deck and look for the windows with the Nessie sticker for photos). And even though the program didn't say there would be hairy cows, the company named after them certainly showed them to us. Thank you!
