We booked a half-day tour on Ctrip two days in advance. There were three of us adults, and we hired a car for 130 RMB for half a day. They picked us up from the hotel at 1:30 PM and dropped us off at 5:30 PM. The tour mainly included visiting Fairy Stream, the fishing village, the Red Sand Dunes, and the White Sand Dunes. To get to the White Sand Dunes, you have to take an ATV, which costs 300,000 VND per person, calculated per head.★

Mr. My Tin was very jolly and informative. We love him as a tourist guide. The whole experience was great. We learned new things from the Vietnam War and understood their strategies. For the trip, I wish they put the complete itinerary. We were surprised that we had to stop at the handicapped painting shop and the restaurant. It’s not bad btw I love the places but it would be good to know where we will go besides the cu chi tunnel.★

We had had a wonderful tour with Qui of the Independence Palace. We learnt so much about the palace’s history and architecture. We also went to the War Remnants Museum and the Jade Pagoda. Qui was extremely informative and happy to accommodate the changes we requested to the itinerary. Nothing was too much trouble to make sure we got the most out of our tour. We would highly recommend Qui as a guide if you want fascinating stories, facts and insights into the personalities of the Vietnamese leaders up to 1975.
