Dolphins & Benagil Caves with Biologist guide

Details: This tour combines 2 unforgettable experiences in 1: Looking for dolphins in their natural habitat and seeing the famous Benagil Cave and other rock formations along the Algarve Coast from Parchal, Lagoa to Benagil. The tour lasts up to 3 hours and the itinerary may vary depending on the location of the dolphins. Count on a family-friendly, good-humored and experienced team who will share their passion, information and interesting facts about the marine species and rock formations observed. The most commonly sighted cetacean species are the common dolphin (Delphinus delphis) and the bottlenose dolphin (Tursiops truncatus). Although this tour depends on Nature, it is a team effort with other companies equally accredited by the ICNF (Institute for Nature and Forest Conservation), thus maximizing the possibilities of sightings. We also saw several seabirds such as the Gannet (Morus bassanus), Great Cormorant (Phalacrocorax aristotelis), among others. During the summer months, and if the sea and weather conditions are favorable, we stop in a bay for those who want to swim in the calm and crystal clear waters.
