Reviews: Krakow to Wieliczka Salt Mine: Combo Tour Options (hotel pick-up)

The salt mines were really worth visiting, and this was a good tour to do from Krakow. The mines themselves are vast and there is a lot to see you are taken in with a guide associated with the mine as a large group and the tour keeps a fast pace as you move through the 3 levels that are open to the public (ca 800 steps down!). We were taken to and from the mines in a small minibus by Peter who was FANTASTIC. He was extremely knowledgable and went out of his way to show us some area of particular interest when dropping one of the tour party off on our return to Krakow. I fully recommend both the destination and this tour company.★

Reviews: Krakow: Extreme Shooting Range with Hotel Pick-Up

We were picked up by Piotr, who was absolutely brilliant. He was very knowledgeable about the tour and the guns, and his English was excellent. He was a genuinely lovely man and made us feel at ease straight away.
The gun range itself was great fun and very informative, especially when it came to safety. We chose the 50-bullet package, which did not disappoint at all. We also decided to pay extra to try another gun afterwards, which was only £8 for one bullet.
After the shooting, we were taken into a room just off reception and offered two shots of vodka (optional), which was a nice touch.
Piotr definitely made our trip even before we reached the range. Highly recommended — thanks again, Piotr!★

Reviews: Guided Tour Krakow to Auschwitz-Birkenau with pickup options

A visit to the Auschwitz museum and labor camp, and the Birkenau extermination camp, is a must in life to become aware of the atrocities that human beings are capable of committing. It also makes us realize that, unfortunately, if we don't all take this into account, any politician in a powerful country could repeat this tragic chapter of human history. There are moments during the visit that leave you somewhat shocked, but I think it's not until hours or the day after the visit that you truly grasp the horrific mass genocide that the Nazis committed worldwide.
