I highly recommend our tour guide! Prince Gong's Mansion has so many stories; without a good guide, it would be a rushed experience. Guide Li has a profound understanding of Qing Dynasty history, ancient architecture, and especially the culture of "Fu" (ē¦, meaning good fortune), bringing the stories behind every detail to life. It's not the organizers' fault that I took away points. The weather ruined everything: cold, frost, and ice. The delivery was comfortable, the lunch was good, but walking on the wall itself was very slippery. And everything was foggy. So, we didn't get what we expected.ā
