I hired a car for the day to visit Pingyao and Qiao Courtyard. Car was good condition and driver was safe. Timing was very flexible which was helpful. Driver also gave us a lot of tips on the way. All in all highly recommended as a convenient option if you are in Taiyuan.

It's a pretty decent show, and even if you don't speak Chinese, you can still enjoy the flow of the performance. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Pingyao. However, it was a bit disappointing for travelers that the vouchers were only available the day before the performance.
