Reviews: Doi Suthep and Wat Pha Lat Sunrise Tour (Small Group Only)

We were picked up promptly and driven to Doi Suthep for sunrise followed by two additional temples. It was an early morning, but well worth it! Our guide was knowledgeable, patient and kind.

Nice trip overall. Ronnie was a wonderful guide and very informative. The shuttle left on time and brought us back in time as well. Lunch was great! they tell you to bring a whole bunch of stuff like a swimsuit, change of clothes etc. which don’t actually get used unless you want to swim with the elephants which is optional. My only constructive comment would be to do the hike first and end with the elephants. The way it’s structured right now is a bit exhausting especially in the blazing heat. Good value either way.
Reviews: Wat Rong Khun - White Temple + Blue Temple one-day tour [12-seater/9-seater options | Chinese/English guide options | Off-peak tour]

It was a tour that made me feel like I got a good deal for the price! I became friends with the guide and he was very kind, giving me fruit at various points. Since we traveled long distances a lot, it would have been great if the van ride had been a little more comfortable!

The tour only includes transportation; everything else is self-service due to the distance. You'll need to plan your own activities and activities once you arrive. There's no guide; you're on your own. To take photos with the elephants, you'll need to buy small bananas (100 taels each) to feed them. Meals are also served to the elephants and are at your own expense.
