Stargazing in Zion National Park's International Dark Sky

Details: Stargazing Zion is pleased to host you, family, and friends for an entertaining evening of stargazing and astronomy on a field adjacent to the newly dedicated International Dark Sky Park, Zion National Park. Starting with a brief 10-minute walk to our dark sky location, our guides will then familiarize you with the night sky as astronomical twilight begins to set. Each guest lounges in their own Yogibo. These pods conform to your body, eliminating pressure points to make it comfortable and easy to view the star-filled sky. Each guest also has a pair of Celestron Outland X Binoculars to view the sky from their Yogibo. Our astronomy guides will present a 2-hour program that includes state-of-the-art telescopes and laser pointers to guide you around the constellations and objects of the night sky. We also provide guests an up-close view of celestial objects (galaxies, nebulae, clusters) through our powerful telescopes. Hot beverages are provided as well, such as hot chocolate, coffee and tea.
