I booked a VIP tour this time, and the itinerary was very packed, with five or six boat trips in total, making it a fairly in-depth tour.
The Mekong River didn't look very clear; the water was quite yellow and covered with water hyacinths, but there was no unpleasant odor.
The island had many plants (various fruits) and animals (pythons, crocodiles, catfish, etc.), and the guide led the tour, providing very enthusiastic explanations. At the narrow section of the river where boats were manually rowed, the guide mentioned that a tip was expected for the rowers. Before the tour ended, the guide suggested that if we were satisfied with the trip, we could also tip him; I felt I had to give him something, otherwise I'd feel awkward.★

The guide was excellent. He was handsome, kind, and professional. And the entire itinerary was excellent. However, the West Hotel was the worst. The Wi-Fi kept disconnecting, the elevators were too slow, and the facilities were too old. If only they could change hotels, everything would be great.★

Joni was a wonderful guide, absolutely brilliant, positive, and responsive. We loved the tour. We didn't lose anyone, which is key 😀 Lunch was included, and they even took our food allergies into account, which is crucial. We lived in a different area, so we had to get to the office ourselves. They sent us the address in advance, so we found the right place without any problems.★

It was a very satisfying tour. The guide spoke Japanese and was very knowledgeable and kind. The price was definitely a bargain for the tour. I hope many people who come to Ho Chi Minh City experience the Mekong Delta tour.
