We got the card at the airport in front of the metro station from a machine. It's very convenient, and you don't have to change money at the airport.

Since it was a bit of a bargain, I used it twice during my trip. At the first shop, the staff initially said something like "it can't be used," but when I insisted, "no, take a good look," another staff member came and helped me, and I was able to use it. At the second shop, they seemed confused, saying "what is this?", but they carefully read the voucher and helped me. I wouldn't say either experience was completely smooth, but I was glad that I was able to use it. I wish they had S$10 options as well as S$5. My recommendation from the menu is the steamed kaya butter sandwich. The one at the first shop was especially delicious, with the butter soaked right in.

I used this eSIM during my recent trip to Hong Kong, and the overall experience was excellent. The SATS lounge at Changi Airport is quite nice, with a comfortable environment, a wide variety of food, showers, and towels provided at the front desk.
