The museum is great and very interesting. The displays are very informative, and the museum itself is attractively designed. However, renovations are currently underway (November 2025), so my visit was accompanied by loud construction noise. As a result, I couldn't stay as long as I would have liked, since the noise became quite unbearable after a while. The museum itself is highly recommended, but I would currently advise against visiting, or at least recommend bringing earplugs.

I used it when traveling to Germany, France, and Switzerland. It seems like you don't need to reserve a seat. I didn't, but I was able to sit down everywhere. This pass saved me about 20,000 yen, so I highly recommend it. Apparently, if you don't activate it before boarding, you'll be fined.
