Itinerary:
Wake up early and your guide and driver will meet you in the lobby of the Zhangjiajie Hotel and take you to the Mengdong River for whitewater rafting. The rafting trip will last about three hours. There are also free activities to visit the town of Furong. After the raft and Furong Town tour, you will be driven back to Zhangjia Street Hotel to finish your day tour.
Mengdong River rafting:
Mengdong River Scenic Area is a famous rafting resort. Here, visitors can float on rubber rafts. Because of the fantastic scenery and unforgettable experience, the river rafting on the Mengdong River has won the reputation of "the world's first rafting spot".
Furong Town:
Although the Furong town looks to be an ordinary village, but it was the Qin and Han earth King's capital You Yang. Before the movie "Hibiscus Town" was filmed here, it received little attention. Furong Town not only has a long history of the ancient town, but also is a natural scenery and ancient national culture combined with tourism resort. It is both the entrance to the Mondong River and one of the best places to find peace and see classicism. The town is surrounded by lush green mountains and rivers. As you enter the countryside, you will see winding paths and Tujia stilted houses along the river. It reflects the simplicity and ancient folk customs of Tujia people everywhere.

I. Departure Time
The standard departure time is 9:00 AM daily. Your designated driver will pick you up from your hotel. As this is a customized private tour, both the departure and sightseeing schedules are flexible. You may discuss and adjust to a more suitable time with our customer service after booking. During public holidays, an earlier departure is recommended to avoid crowds.
II. Return Time
The tour usually concludes around 5:00 PM with drop-off at your hotel. The actual return time may be adjusted based on the departure time and the day's progress. The total service duration is approximately 8–9 hours.
III. Pick-up & Drop-off Area
We provide complimentary pick-up and drop-off services within the downtown area of Zhangjiajie. Additional charges will apply for services outside this designated area. The specific fee will be confirmed by our customer service after your booking is finalized.
