Third Floor: Ancient Civilizations to the Yan-Zhao Culture
"Stone Age Hebei" and "Hebei's Shang Dynasty Civilization": Showcasing the evolution of civilization in Hebei from the Paleolithic Age to the Shang and Zhou dynasties.
"The Heroic Spirit of Yan and Zhao": This exhibition primarily showcases the historical features of the Yan and Zhao states during the Spring and Autumn and Warring States periods. The highlight of this hall is the bronze door knocker with openwork dragon and phoenix patterns (from a Yan palace), which features massive proportions and exquisite ornamentation, demonstrating the advanced bronze casting techniques of that era.

Second floor: Two major exhibition halls

· Gilt Bronze Table Stand with Four Dragons and Four Phoenixes: Featuring intricate designs of soaring dragons and dancing phoenixes interwoven with gold and silver threads, this national treasure is prohibited from being exhibited abroad.

· Gilded Bronze Screen Base with Tiger Attacking Deer: This piece ingeniously captures the dynamic moment of a fierce tiger preying on a deer.

The Bronze Ding with Iron Legs of King Cuo of Zhongshan: The ding is inscribed with lengthy inscriptions, serving as important physical evidence for studying the history of the Warring States period.

·
"The Great Han Dynasty: The Mancheng Han Tombs" Exhibition Hall: This exhibition displays the tombs of Liu Sheng, Prince Jing of Zhongshan from the Western Han Dynasty, and his wife Dou Wan.
