The island fee for Mabul Island is 50 MYR, payable by yourself or by scanning a QR code. It's truly beautiful, filled with flowers and Bajau people selling coconuts. It's not ideal for snorkeling, perhaps due to the presence of overwater bungalows. However, the instructors are very helpful. Overall, it's best to just enjoy the scenery and take photos. I recommend our guide, Chen Kaixin; he's super fun and awesome!

Mabul Island is quite beautiful and really suitable for taking photos. Besides boat trips, there aren't many other entertainment options in Semporna, so you might want to visit Mabul Island instead.

Highly recommended! The entire experience is diver-centric, and they even take care of you while snorkeling. Remember to book in advance! Sea turtles are everywhere, and the wolffish storm is absolutely breathtaking.
