I purchased this ticket to travel from Milan to Nuremberg via Munich. I didn't hesitate much because I could board the trains I wanted for just a little more than buying individual tickets. Of course, I had to reserve seats separately for long distances, but it wasn't difficult or too expensive. On top of that, being in first class allowed me to travel comfortably, so I was very satisfied.

The pass is very easy to use. And you really do save quite a bit if you plan to visit several attractions. However, if you're only going to one or two a day, the pass isn't really worth it.
