This tour was both driving to "New" Zagreb as well as walking quite a bit in Upper Zagreb and the downtown area. We loved our guide, Filip, who offered charm, the history, the architecture and a little Croatian cynicism as a local. He even found us dinner reservations at the most delicious restaurant we would not have found on our own. Highly recommend!

We covered many of the more interesting ‘sights’ of the town and Petros was knowledgeable and engaging. Having the benefit of a local guide was great and provided an extra dimension to the sights shown. Taking us to the funicular just before the cannon shot was a highlight. Something we’d not experienced before. Make sure you take some water. Even though it wasn’t overly hot it is a walking tour after all and handy to have a drink on you. Very enjoyable and highly recommend.

Reviews: Crobites: Eat Like a Local – Zagreb Foodie Experience

On a month-long solo trip, I went on plenty of tours, and Katia was by far the best guide I had. It was slightly off-season, so I ended up being the only person on the tour, but Katia was still incredibly enthusiastic and engaging throughout. She showed me the different sights, shared insights into Zagreb’s culture, and introduced me to the local food scene. Her passion really showed, and I felt like I got a much more personal experience than I would have on a typical group tour. I suspect many other tours would simply have been cancelled. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to get their bearings in Zagreb or looking for an introduction to the city’s authentic food scene.
