We drove a long distance on the highway to Meteora. The local guide provided good explanations, and visiting each monastery was enjoyable. It is a place where you need to carefully consider the distance and time before visiting. While the scenery and the monastery visits were good, I consider the 5-euro entrance fee for each monastery, and even the 1-euro charge for the restrooms, to be a rip-off for tourists.

The overall itinerary was well-planned, though lunch was a bit rushed! The tour members were all incredibly nice, punctual, and followed the rules, which greatly enhanced the trip! As the first day tour to the outskirts of Athens, it was definitely worthwhile; the natural scenery was very pleasant. I spent a very memorable time with my family. Note: This tour is extremely unfriendly to people with mobility issues; please do not book if any family members have mobility problems!

Natalie is an outstanding tour guide. She read the group, set an agenda, and took us directly to the museum highlights of interest to our group. Her commentary was informative and entertaining. She was extremely knowledgeable about the history, and made the most of our limited time.
