It was a pretty fun to visit and half day trip although you get quite bored at the end. We thought the boat ride was included but it turned out that it was additional fee. I would say the boat ride was unique but not worth the price.

The driver and guide Joe is a really wonderful person. We were a group of 5 people and he helped us a lot. One of us is a person in a wheelchair, so he helped even with it coz he had to move in such a wheelchair for half a year.

I was fortunate enough to join a private tour for one person. Our guide, Pan Zhenyu, was humorous, knowledgeable, and had a wealth of information. His in-depth explanations helped me remember this period of history more vividly. The hour and a half flew by. Booking through Ctrip was convenient, and the response was quick.
