Reviews: Arrowtown and Wanaka Highlights Tour from Queenstown
Guest User2025-08-10
The guide was great. Funny and knowledgeable. And each site was beautiful. I would say it’s too long in wanaka and not long enough in arrowtown though as there’s lots to see and do there. It’s probably worth spending the whole day there and it’s only a 20 minute drive from queenstown. Wanaka is pretty but nothing really going on other than a view of the lake.
Reviews: Wanaka Wine Tours - Boutique Tour

Such a wonderful tour around the area. We weren’t sure what to expect but were pleasantly surprised with the tour around the area and surrounding towns. The wines and cellar door staff were so friendly and knowledgeable with many tasty wines on offer. The meal and matching wines at The Stoaker Room was next level!! Definitely recommend. We also had the added bonus at the end of the trip of the fresh fruit icecream from Jackson Orchard. Heidi, our guide was so friendly, full of wonderful knowledge of the region and great stories of her life in the area. Such a wonderful day. Can’t recommend this tour enough. Thank you!!! Reviews: From Wanaka: Milford Sound Flight with Landing & Glaciers
Guest User2025-03-08
We originally booked for just the flight over the mountains and glaciers but the trip was cancelled because we were the only two people who had booked. We paid the additional fee and combined the flight with landing at Milford airport, a short coach trip to the marina and boat cruise around Milford Sound. We were pleased we did so. Ryan, our pilot, was friendly, extremely knowledgeable and a good communicator. The scenery was spectacular. We thoroughly enjoyed the boat tour too. Although the marina was very busy and there was some unnecessary jostling to board our boat, the cruise itself was excellent. The scenery was beautiful and unlike anything we are likely to find in England! Milford Sound is quite busy as, understandably, so many people would like to see and enjoy it. However, there was sufficient space between the boats to ensure the number didn’t spoil our experience. A word of advice if you are tall and considering booking a flight, is to check you will have legroom on plane.
Reviews: From Wanaka: Ruby Island 1-Hour Cruise and Photo Walk

Out Guide was very knowledgeable on the Ruby Island. So glad I went on the tour to learn more about the history and also about the fauna.
