Reviews: Cultural Night Tour
Guest User2025-12-28
This tour was truly culturally enriching. It began with a visit to the cultural village led by a highly knowledgeable guide, who enthusiastically demonstrated Fijian pottery-making, traditional weapons, and various artefacts. This was followed by a captivating cultural show featuring traditional dances, mesmerizing fire performances, and live music. To top it all off, we enjoyed a delicious taste of authentic Fijian cuisine. The entire experience was both engaging and enjoyableβ€”I highly recommend it!

Reviews: Malamala Beach Club - Half Day Pass
Guest User2024-08-08
Malamala you never fail to disappoint. I tried writing on the full review page but I am blocked. We attended our Goddaughters wedding there recently. Wow wow wow!! The wedding of the century. As usual the staff were amazing. The lovely Amelia was there to greet me. I adore her. The staff were engaging, attentive, happy, polite and warm. Everything we could ever hope for. This wedding was special and we had a glorious 6 days of celebrations topped off by the private wedding. Having the island to ourselves was magnificent. The food was delicious as usual. The drinks flowed. The dancing, singing love and joy filled the air. The staff make all the difference. As an ex long haul flight attendant I pay attention to detail with customer service. And the staff at Malamala go above and beyond. This was not a half day cruise. It was a private wedding (half day cruises are perfect too-plenty of time for couples with young children). The boat was privately chartered as well. What a WONDERFUL day and night! Amelia I love you. I love all the staff but especially you and my boys from Naitasiri who did a swim chase after me as the boat pulled away! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚. People loved it. Never mind we are from the same province. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚. This was so funny the whole boatload were laughing so much πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚. All of us a on a wedding high. We want to repeat it all. I don’t think there will ever be another wedding like this anywhere it was so spectacular. Well done everyone. Thankyou for making our goddaughters wedding so so beautiful!! I’ll be back. I’m always back πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ In the meantime this Kai Colo is retreating to her bush! πŸ˜‚ Lolomas from Suzanne xxxxx

Reviews: "Discover Fiji's Hidden Gems: Eco Park, Pottery Village & Dunes!"
Guest User2024-10-03
We had a wonderful day out on this adventure. The Eco park was lovely. We held a snake and the highlight for me was holding Ben the Iguana. Feeding turtles was fabulous! It’s a very peaceful setting. I enjoyed the board walks and the bridge. . All the staff were friendly and helpful. Cute little play area for the kiddies. At the pottery village we took part in the Kava ceremony, the ladies were so welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed the singing and dancing and made a few purchases of the handmade pottery before we left. We stopped for lunch at the Olive. Good tasty food. The Sigatoka Sand Dunes Park was a great walk with a fabulous view and a beautiful beach. We went on a very hot day but I’m so glad we got to see this part of Fiji and do this activity. Take plenty of water. Our driver was fantastic. Thank you for an awesome day!

It was really good as it was written. Sam, our tour guide, did a great job. We even altered our trip and still managed to make everything on time. Highly recommended.

Reviews: Half Day Nadi Tour incls Sri Siva Temple, Orchid Gardens,Local Village & Markets
Guest User2024-07-07
The 1/2 day island tour was very nice with Avi. He was a great tour guide. In addition to the sights, he gave us information on taxi's, restaurants to try, and which stores and markets to go to. He also told us about his life, too, and it was fun to learn how Fijians study and live. When we stopped at the Sri Siva temple, it was especially interesting as Avi is Hindu and explained the temple and region from his perspective. We also were lucky enough to see a couple that had just gotten married at the temple, and a couple that were getting their car blessed. We saw the valley of the Sleeping Giant. Unfortunately, it was cloudy, so we didn't get to see the sleeping giant, silhouette, but I'm glad we saw the cloudy version. We hiked in the orchid gardens, which was a very nice hike. The flowers and greenery was very pretty. Avi took us to a produce market and explained the various fruits and vegetables to us. I felt no pressure to buy any of the produce. The place was a nice market to buy produce, if you would want to. We stopped at a store where there was a demonstration of the Kava ceremony. You could try the kava, also. The shops had items you could buy (we had ice cream to take away the flavor of the kava!!). I felt no pressure in the store to purchase items. We did buy a bracelet, but I didn't feel obligated to buy it. Avi also took us to the first Village. The village tour wasn't much, but it was interesting to hear. Avi did warn us that there will be a trinkets set up to purchase after it. He told us we did not need to feel obligated to purchase the items, but to also understand that that is how they make their money so they may give some pressure. I did purchase a bracelet at the village. Because I did feel like I should ( not because of how they acted, but because I understand tourism is important to the island). I mentioned that I did not feel pressure to buy items, because several reviews stated they did feel pressure. Maybe it's the guide, I don't know. We had a very enjoyable experience on this 1/2 day island tour, and I recommend it (especially with Avi!).
