We had an incredibly fun day. Our guide Philippe spoke enthusiastically and accessibly about the Douro Valley and the wines. He was a super friendly guide with a great sense of humor and answered all our questions with enthusiasm. The tours at the wineries were also very interesting, and we were served many different wines. Furthermore, the lunch was delicious and the views were truly beautiful. Finally, the boat trip was nice and refreshing and relaxing. All in all, a wonderful and unforgettable day!

We had an exceptional experience at Fado na Baixa in Porto. The performance featured highly professional musicians and singers who delivered traditional fado music with remarkable passion and emotion. Their beautiful performances truly moved the audience. Between the live performances, the show included informative video clips that explored the history of fado, including the Coimbra style of fado and the important role of female fado singers. Learning about the origins and evolution of this music greatly deepened our appreciation of what we were hearing. The space itself was super intimate and cozy, which made the experience feel even more personal and immersive. If we return to Portugal, we would definitely love to experience this performance again. We strongly recommend Fado na Baixa to all visitors to Portugal.

Spent a few hours here (could have spent longer if I had the time) enjoying the beautiful gardens and galleries. I visited on a weekday when unfortunately where was lots of noisy school groups visiting which took away from the peaceful atmosphere as they had little respect for others around them. The outdoor cafe is not open and there was no signage to say so and the outdoor lake was totally empty. Still a great place to visit and I recommend the trip from the city.

The trip was absolutely amazing! The value for the amount we paid was incredible. There were 5 of us and we paid less than $100 each for a full day of wine, food, and amazing views. The transportation was incredibly easy and the guides were fantastic and so knowledgeable! Would absolutely recommend this tour!


