Classic tour. The size of the tour is relatively big (around 60 travellers on a big bus). The time management of the tour is precise.
Reviews: Iceland Golden Circle Grand Tour + Blue Lagoon 1-day tour|Comfortable minibus city transfer|Optional admission tickets

I think this price is quite cheap considering it includes admission to the Blue Lagoon. Also, the tour lasts from morning until evening. Lunch is not included, so you'll need to eat on your own. I ate at a restaurant near Geysir.
Reviews: Reykjavík: Golden Circle & Extra Waterfalls Small Group Tour
Guest User2026-02-19
This trip was cancelled and we were rebooked on a different tour, with a stop at Fridheimar tomato farm instead of the extra waterfalls. It was a good trip and the tomato farm was really interesting, as well as a lovely warm spot to stop for lunch, but we would have preferred the extra waterfalls and less time eating! All the sights on the Golden Circle tour were amazing, we just needed longer at each place. We always seemed to be rushing and in fact often had to run a little bit to see everything and get back to the bus on time! We finished our last stop at Kerid Crater at 1615 so got back to Reykjavík a lot earlier than we had expected. We would have preferred a longer day with more time to take in the wonderful Icelandic sights. The tour guide was good but the microphone wasn’t great so we struggled to hear everything that was said. We booked a small group tour (19 seater bus) which was full so it did feel a bit cramped with small seats and everyone having big bags and coats!

A fantastic trip! The tour guide was incredibly experienced, knowledgeable about various attractions and delicious Icelandic cuisine! The guide was also very friendly and talkative, keeping the trip lively and fun! Contacting the guide in advance allows them to pick you up directly from your hotel, eliminating the need to go to a designated location on the platform!
