The tour was divided into two parts. The first part, with the tour guide, was interesting and entertaining despite the heavy rain. The second part, the carriage ride, was also well guided, but the promised horseback riding didn't happen. Overall, a good event.★

This was a really fun excursion! From the meeting point, you are bussed out to where the jaunting carts congregate. The drivers are very organized, four people to a jaunting cart (cash only), so our party of two was paired with another couple.Liam and his dad were great guides; very entertaining:). Be warned that there is a portion of the ride where everyone gets out and walks up a couple of steep hills. I had a walking boot on at the time, so was able to stay in the cart, which made this a pretty good activity to get out and see a lot of things even with limited mobility. There is a nice restaurant (cash only) where are you take a break for a while before the boats take off back to Killarney. The boats are small, open boats, and you go across the lakes until you get back to town. Very scenic!★
