Everything went well. The Rila Monastery is definitely worth visiting, but the Boyana Church, not so much. Our guide was Iva, and she was fantasticβattentive and friendly. If you eat at the restaurants near the monastery, be aware that they may only accept cash.β

It was my first time hiking and it was definitely a challenge but iβm glad i did it. The snow was everywhere and sometimes we sank knee deep in the snow so i recommend you bring waterproof clothing and the very big snow shoes so you donβt sink π€£ overal a very nice experience. Next time iβll train more cardio beforehandβ
