If you had told me beforehand that the snorkeling area was tens of meters deep, I definitely wouldn't have dared to go down. But the moment I did, the underwater world appeared so clearly before me—sunlight pierced through the water, hundreds of silvery-yellow fish swam through my fingers, the coral reefs were clearly visible, even the fish scales shimmered. The "crystal clear" described in textbooks felt so real!
☹️The biggest regret is that my DJI drone broke down an hour before we set off, so I couldn't capture the underwater world. I'll have to try again next time.
🌴 Beginner-Friendly Tips
💡 Bring your own snorkeling mask; a dry one is safer. Wear a long-sleeved, long-legged wetsuit for sun protection and to prevent scratches. The water is clearest around 10 am, and the fish are more active, so remember to apply sunscreen beforehand. Bring bread to feed the fish. Even if you can't swim, no problem! Just wear a life jacket and lie on the surface to enjoy the underwater spectacle!★

What a wonderful tour! They contacted me via WhatsApp and told me the pickup time from my hotel. Everything was on time, and the wait was comfortable. The guides, Daisy and Sanya, were very friendly and helpful, ready to answer all my questions. The lunch was delicious, the views were stunning, and the price from trip.com was very competitive. They only told me the meeting time for the next day very late before departure. Overall, everyone who was supposed to go did. The tour leader was a Black woman, and her attitude was so-so, and she seemed a bit two-faced. She was very friendly to foreigners, but towards Chinese people... so you'll have to figure that out for yourself.★

Hong Island boasts beautiful scenery and clear waters, making it a great snorkeling destination. Joining a tour is hassle-free, and the guides are very enthusiastic. However, the national park fee is separate, the coral at the snorkeling spots is average, and it can be a bit crowded.
