We felt very well taken care of right from the start. After a short safety briefing, we headed out to sea, and our captain was in constant contact with the lookouts on land to spot animals for us. The first group was a bit shy and didn't let us get too close. When it was time to turn back, we passed a second, less shy group. They made a special stop for us, and we were able to observe the whales in peace. On the way back, they simply picked up the pace a bit. It was a truly fantastic tour, and we definitely recommend it!

On 13.03.26 my friend and I went on a full-day tour to the other side of the island. We managed to see so many amazing places in such a short time! Our guide picked us up directly from our hotel in Machico, which was very convenient for us, and brought us back after the tour. The whole trip was very comfortable and well organized, so I highly recommend it!

It was excellent, from the hotel pickup to the hike itself. The guide was fantastic and provided us with perfect information about every section of the hike. I highly recommend it! The views on and around Pico de Areeiro were spectacular. I also want to mention the driver; he was great too! The whole tour was a wonderful experience.

I cannot praise this trip highly enough. The route and stops along the way flowed beautifully, with our very informative and friendly guide, Marco, bringing Madeira to life for us. He explained not only the history and the diverse plant species, but also how families have managed the land for generations. It was fascinating, so much so that I fallen ever so slightly in love with Madeira. Highlight of the trip for mr was the L’évada trail (No-11) which needs pre booking online. €4.50. An added lovely touch after a full day of sightseeing was we were dropped off in order of pick-ups even though I’m sure it may have been easier to drop off the other way around. Very thoughtful.

Excellent guide and we had an amazing day! Mónica was a wonderful guide, full of interesting information but also personal stories. The places we went to were spectacular and we really managed to see more of the island. Mónica was such a safe driver, and took us to great viewpoints. The lunch and wines were outstanding - thank you!

Friendly, welcoming and generous. Informative talk in English with just enough information about the history of the wine. Interesting to see inside and around. The tasting itself was more or less self guided. A brief and complicated overview then left to get on with it, which was a shame. However we did ask questions which they came and answered and that helped. Generous samples and absolutely delicious. We had fun as a pair and challenged ourselves to blind identify sweet Harder than you would think! Would highly recommend.


