Reviews: Island entrance fee included! Phuket Similan Islands Day Trip (Self-operated Lightning/Dreamer cruise with optional snorkeling excursion)

Extremely satisfied! I've taken sailboats, speedboats, and yachts for island hopping tours before, but for long-distance trips like the Similan Islands, you absolutely need a comfortable, large yacht to avoid seasickness. Especially on the return trip, they kept providing ice cream, fruit, snacks, cola, and mineral water; we ate and ate until we reached shore without any seasickness. The bilingual (Chinese and English) tour guide made communication easy, and the time arrangement was reasonable.

A very satisfying trip. From the moment we placed the order, the staff immediately created a WeChat group and replied promptly, no matter how late or what time it was, until the end of the trip. The Similan Islands are far away, and a bad boat can be very uncomfortable, but this boat was small with spacious seating, and everyone received excellent care. Food: Breakfast, lunch, and afternoon tea were provided on board, and there was a buffet dinner upon arrival at the port. The food on board was very good. Lunch included unlimited salmon, very sweet mango sticky rice, and we were even left with noodles! Transportation: They provided pick-up and drop-off services, which was especially convenient since our departure and return points were not at the same hotel. They communicated with the travel agency and made a note for us. Activities: We visited two islands, Island 4 and Island 8. Our boat went to Island 4 separately. Because it was a double-decker boat, we stopped at the famous swing area on the back of the island, so we didn't have to wait for a swing and there was no one around, haha. We had enough time to explore each island. We went snorkeling once on each island. Other: Water and drinks are free on board. Beach socks and towels are provided upon boarding, and mouthpieces are also provided, so you don't need to buy your own. The crew helps take photos on the boat, and they turn out quite nice; their skills are excellent. They even helped me dive down and photograph a clownfish while snorkeling—it was beautiful! The tour guide also thoughtfully took photos for everyone on Island 8, which was very considerate. Overall, I was very satisfied with this trip. Thank you! 🙏

Overall, the service was pretty good. Just a few points for improvement: - We were told the meeting time was 6:45, but the bus didn't arrive at the hotel until 7:00. - The initial explanation at the meeting point in the morning was a bit drawn out, and we didn't depart until around 9:15. - At the end, they asked for voluntary tips, and their attitude was acceptable.

The excursion was well organized. The transfer from the hotel to the pier was well organized, check-in was quick, and we were given a bag with masks, snorkels, a mat, and towels. Departure from the pier was at 9:00 a.m. The boat was small and fast, but the major drawback was the very small space between the rows of seats—it was impossible to put on or take off a life jacket, and there was nowhere to put your things or bag. We spent almost the entire excursion in wet swimming trunks, as there was nowhere to change on the boat. The first coral reef was poor, the second had a little more fish, but this isn't Egypt or the Maldives—there were isolated fish, and the corals were dull and barely alive. Lunch on island #4 was good, and after lunch we had another 30-40 minutes to relax on the island, swimming, and lounging on the sand. The sand was white as flour and clean. The sea was a stunning color, clean, and warm. We were brought back from the excursion to the pier at 5:30 PM. We had a snack at the buffet. Overall, the positives outweigh the negatives. Overall, the excursion is highly recommended. The photos in the description are accurate.
