Toured today with Kavee and Yala One Tours of the National park. Driver Kavee was professional and knowledgeable about all area, animals and birds in the Park. Kavee driving was very safe and his communication to explain to the group of mixed nationalities where we were going and what animals and bird species we encountered was highlyappreciated. More importantly when all the other Jeep operator's were stopped looking for the elusive leopard ( they had no idea) Kavee seemed to know where to position his vehicle in the perfect spot. Then Bam. Lucas ( he knees the leopards by name) appeared out of the bush right next to our jeep. Life memories for sure. Please seek Kavee at Yala One Tours for safari. Highly recommend you do.★

Reviews: Udawalawa Safari & Elephants Orphanage Tour from Hambantota port

We pick up from hambanthota port with luxury car and we arrived to the Udawalawe national park and we went to the safari and saw many elephants and many kinds of birds. After we visit elephant orphanage home and we saw feeding baby elephants.That was amazing experience we had.we highly recommend that gave us execellent services★

This was probably one of the best experiences of my life! Our driver Madu was incredibly knowledgeable about the animals and wildlife and made the day enjoyable. We were really lucky to see elephants, 3 leopards and even a sloth bear and a lot of this was down to Madu and a little bit of luck!★

I did the full day safari with Janaka Safaris and am so happy I did! Damith was the guide and his passion/knowledge about animals and providing exceptional customer service is top notch (plus he’s a genuinely nice guy). He picked me up from the hotel at 4:30am exactly and made it a point to be one of the first jeeps in line to get into the park to help our chances of seeing a leopard in the morning. He asked if we wanted to follow the other jeeps’ routes or go our own way… obviously the better choice was to go our own way with his expertise. During the day I saw almost everything there was to see… leopard, elephants, buffalo, deer, crocodiles, jackals, various birds, etc. There were reports that other safari jeeps that day were having trouble spotting any animals that day, but not us! This was also the second safari I’ve done in Yala and this experience was by far the best one. If this is your first time doing this, prepare for a VERY long day (I’d highly recommend bringing a Red Bull or some sort of canned coffee to help power through because there is nothing caffeinated available during the day).
