Reviews: Shangri-La Day Tour-Songzanlin Monastery+Napa Sea+Pudacuo National Park+Dukezong Ancient
Guest User2025-11-27
The driver was on time, courteous and knowledgeable. First we went to Songzanlin Monastery. After the Monastery, things got complicated. We went to Yila Napa Grassland for horse riding. I really would NOT advise the HORSE RIDING - AVOID IT like you avoid the plague! There were tiers with different prices. I took tier B CNY 280 which I still considered expensive. This was where communication breakdown happened as the horse herder ask me to dismount and she left me at the top of a hill and she went all the way back down the hill without me on the horse. I asked what's happening using translator app (did not work). So I walked all the way down & was asked to mount the horse again there, FEELING CHEATED. The driver apologized profusely for the communication breakdown and treated me with a free lunch. The rest of the tour went smoothly when we went to Potatso National Park. Conclusion - better to go to Napa Sightseeing Platform to enjoy the view and scenery.

Thank you so much for your kind guidance from pick-up to drop-off. Shangri-La is a mountainous region, so navigating alone can be challenging, but the tour was convenient.
Reviews: Leshan Giant Buddha + Mount Emei pure play day tour [Guaranteed departure]|All-inclusive (Optional)|Optional small group tours
Guest User2025-11-24
During my 6-day trip with my parents, I planned to visit both the Leshan Giant Buddha and Mount Emei on the fifth day – a truly efficient choice! Firstly, I was fortunate to have our guide, Ms. Wan, with exceptional professionalism. She minimized walking, managed the pace effectively, and led our group of 33 with engaging and memorable explanations, emphasizing important points. Her high energy was infectious, and we could feel her love for Mount Emei. The tour bus was also very comfortable. Furthermore, on Friday, November 21st, the morning was cloudy. During the boat trip on Leshan Giant Buddha, we had a delightful encounter with red-billed gulls. The afternoon at the Golden Summit of Mount Emei was also cloudy with high visibility – the weather was great, but we needed to dress warmly and wear hats. We encountered monkeys both on the way up and down Mount Emei – lucky us! The number of people at both attractions was just right, and we met some great fellow travelers. Overall, the trip went very smoothly and wasn't too tiring. Because the journey from Chengdu to Leshan involved taking a bus up the mountain, even though we left at 5 AM and returned to Chengdu at 9 PM, the 9 hours on the bus were essentially a rest period, and I personally slept most of the time. My parents also found the day's itinerary quite interesting, only finding the 1.5km uphill hike a bit challenging (my mother is overweight and doesn't exercise much). Finally, thank you for everything that happened.
