Meet at meeting point: Tours depart at 7:45am (Check In 7:35am) from the loading zone in front of 222 Margaret Street, Brisbane. This is outside the Skytower Apartments and between Albert and Edward Streets. Hotel pickups are not available.Attractions and Activities: Curtis Falls (Ticket included) We visit the Joalah National Park and take a walk through the rainforest to Curtis Falls. Apart from viewing the picturesque falls and the Cedar Creek, this is a great spot for spotting some iconic bird life such as the Rainbow Lorikeet, kookaburra, King Parrot, and colourful Rosella. We take you to the award winning Cedar Creek Glow Worm caves that have been specially constructed to turn daylight into nighttime with the thousands of glow worms enjoying ideal conditions. Attractions and Activities: Hang Glider Launch and Lookout (Free entry) Hang Gliders Tamborine Mountain is one of the most breathtaking lookout points on the mountain. Perched high on the western escarpment and just off Main Western Road, this open launch site offers sweeping views across the Scenic Rim and out towards the Great Dividing Range. On days with the right conditions, the sky comes alive as hang gliders and paragliders run, leap and soar into the air, drifting effortlessly on the mountain thermals. It is an unforgettable sight to watch these colourful wings float silently above the valley, set against the backdrop of endless rolling hills and big open skies. Attractions and Activities: Natural Bridge, Springbrook National Park (Ticket included) Whilst in the Springbrook National Park we travel through the Numinbah Valley with its valleys, escarpments and forests until we reach the Natural Bridge Section. Attractions and Activities: Hinze Dam (Free entry) Hinze Dam is not only an important water source, it is also a haven for wildlife. Around the lake and in the surrounding bushland you can often spot kangaroos and wallabies grazing in the open spaces. Koalas are also found here, usually high up in the eucalyptus trees, resting during the day or slowly moving from branch to branch. The forests are also home to possums, bandicoots and the occasional echidna. Birdlife is especially rich. You might see eagles soaring overhead, black swans and cormorants gliding across the lake, or brightly coloured lorikeets and king parrots in the treetops. The dam also attracts a variety of waterbirds such as pelicans, herons and ducks. Reptiles are part of the ecosystem too, with lizards basking on rocks and turtles resting along the edges of the lake.
