Reviews: Naples Best Of: Amalfi Coast and Pompeii - Small Group Tour

Miriam was a fantastic guide, attentive to our needs, friendly, precise, and punctual. The driver was also excellent, managing to navigate the narrow streets leading to Amalfi if necessary. Recommended.
Reviews: From Pompeii: Bus Transfer to Vesuvius with Park Entry Fee

The transport is excellent, as it takes you directly to the entrance of Mount Vesuvius. However, the walk from the regular parking lot to the entrance is long, monotonous, and boring (along the road). Subtracting the €11 entrance fee per person for Vesuvius from the total price (€39 per person), you're left with €28 per person for the bus ride. That's too much, especially with a full bus and limited space.

Great trip! The bus was confortable and had wifi. Pompei is a must go, incredible well preserved city and constructions that give a glimpse of the past roman life. The guide Nicolo was very attentious to our needs and told very interesting facts about the history of the places we visited. Really recommend!
Reviews: From Naples: Pompeii and Herculaneum - Small Group Tour
Guest User2026-03-11
The collection transport and guided tours at Pompeii and Herculaneum were excellent. The guides were informative particularly Anna at Pompeii. The only down side was the meal, which felt like a chore for the restaurant. The menu was basic and served up without care. Dessert plates were messy with cream around and a tip jar plonked on the table as desert was served. The portions were also quite small.

The trip in Pompeii City is amazing. The guide bring us to some must see highlights in Pompeii, such as the red light district, the Forum, Bath house, and others. It is great to see how people live their life's thousand years ago. Feel the feel of history.

Due to a train strike, we arrived 45 minutes late, and the group had already left. Luckily, we were able to join another group a little later! We had a great guide with interesting stories about the history and culture.
