I bought a 24-hour ticket and exchanged it at Rosio Station. Because there are many hills, I used public transportation to see the sights. The entrance to Lisbon Cathedral was not free, but I got a discount of €5.60. However, I saved about 4000 yen by visiting Ajuda Palace and the Jeronimos Monastery.★

Rodrigo was a great guide and driver! He shared historical information with knowledge and confidence in a story telling way that brought the people and events to life. He did a great job.
Make sure you are ready to walk a good distance over rough cobbles and up lots of hills and stairs. It’s completely worth it at all venues. ★
