Reviews: Florence: Boboli Gardens Reserved Entry Ticket & eBook

We enjoyed our visit to the Boboli Gardens in Florence. It was a very pleasant place for a leisurely walk, with beautifully landscaped paths and several wonderful viewpoints overlooking the city and surrounding areas. The gardens offer a peaceful break from the busier parts of Florence and a nice sense of history and scale. That said, when we visited in February, there was quite a bit of restoration work underway. Some areas were partially closed or impacted by scaffolding, which took away a bit from the overall experience. Even so, we’re glad we went—the views and atmosphere still made it worthwhile, and it’s easy to imagine how stunning it will be once the restoration is complete.
Reviews: Bologna: Food Market Walking Tour with Tasting

The tour was really interesting, not only could we taste a lot of traditional food from Bologna, we could also learn about the history of the city and how the foods were produced (how is balsamic vinegar made, what different cuts are in Mortadella, what is the meaning behind the shape of Tortellini etc.).

Fantastic food tour! The people were lovely, and our guide Valentina was incredibly friendly and provided lots of fascinating insights. The tour through the streets of Bologna was entertaining and truly enjoyable. My highlight: the stop at the osteria – a truly authentic Italian experience.
